Lalaloopsy Loveliness on a typhoon day:: Drienne's 1st

While most of you were cuddling in bed or eating hot ramen or congee, the mister and I, along with our staff braved the strong winds and incessant rain which made our path from Laoag City to Batac City almost suicidal.

Soon as we got to the Kalipi Training Center, we started to do some loveliness for little Drienne. And as luck would have it, there was a power outage! Darn! Of all days. Sigh! But then again, one must do what one is set to do. So with or without electricity... We continued the loveliness.

Don't you think the Lalaloopsy cake is so adorable? The cupcakes that match it are cute as well. We used my writing desk as the cake and cupcake table which I styled with some colored crochet yarns and huge spools.

Sew magically lovely! Body formers we once owned but found home in a dressmaker hobbyist was used to hold patterned ribbons and my neon buttons. When I was purchasing those years ago, my MIL had raised eyebrows. Very long story, it will merit another post. Teehee!

Meter-stick crates! Clever huh!

Oh and after we did this party, someone asked me how do I know where to put things or angle them something like that? I paused, I didn't answer. The talkative me was taken aback. I just let out a smile I think. Yet now I realized there is no book or school that will tell you exactly how to put things, where to put them, rather, styling is an extension of one's self. The way we do things is very parallel to our lifestyle, and those who know us very well would recognize that very quick.

There! That's how we spent our Typhoon Odette day... With loveliness and a hot bowl of miki afterwards.

Happy birthday Drienne!

Hello Kitty purrfection:: Hailey's 2nd

Hailey's birthday comes right after mine and along with the mister and our staff, who partied with me until the wee hours of the morning, we had to drag our butts off from bed to do some loveliness for the little one.

A hello kitty garden themed party for Hailey. Thumbs up for Hailey's mom, Dr. Princess for ace-ing her assignment from us- that is to come up with the most hello kitty dolls she can. Clap! Clap! Clap!

And since we were early to finish assembling this party, we were still able to chitchat with the doctor's sisters who were so generous loving our work and our other projects. Sigh! Thank you Venus and Rheina! Rheina and I almost became best friends when she was telling me how our works are being imitated yet it is still unrivaled. Ha! Ha! Why thank you Rheina. I'll bear that in mind when it will be your project we shall be working on.

Just a thought, Sanrio must be proud of their cutesy cat, loved not only by kids but by adults as well. So that's it, loveliness after loveliness.

Happy 2nd birthday Hailey!

Sunshine on a rainy day:: Azton's baptism

At times, lovely things come at the most unexpected circumstance. Like this party which we were asked to do with just a two day lead time, something lovely fell to our doorstep yesterday. And the heavens know how much I want to share it with you now, but my lips are sealed for a few months. It's something we look forward sharing to all of you folks. My only promise is that it will be la la la lovely.

Tall oaks from little acorns grow - David Everett. True. It doesn't only pertain to little boys but to everything. Little by little, we try to work on our craft like a little acorn, growing into a tall oak. One cake at a time, one party at a time. Yay!

You can say, I'm inspired to write my thoughts today and use these lovely photos of Azton's baptismal as simile. Last week's rains couldn't dampen this parties loveliness. And like the gloomy weather, it just wouldn't cut the happiness we have from the projects that are coming our way. The heavens is truly amazing.

Just but glad that even if it was just a few days notice, Azton's mommy was pleased with the outcome. And for that, we can only be thankful.
