I'm trying hard to remember if this was the wedding where a dove blooper happened. Coordinators asked two men to hold on to the doves. When they signaled the other guests to release the balloons, the two men holding the doves got excited as well and released what they were holding. Ha! Ha! I can just imagine that scene!

Anyways, how do you like this classy blush wedding? I'm sending lots of love to the management of Plaza del Norte Hotel for letting us drape the hall a day before. You just can't do that in three hours tops! and of course to Jenalyn and Rhey... Congratulations on this leap! Thank you for letting us do some loveliness for you!

Blue some love:: Efren + Kristal

It's our first event without any candles at all. Why you'd almost think it's crazy for Fort Ilocandia to prohibit candles in their ballroom. I'd like to believe though that with or without the candles, we were able to deliver loveliness. But I just couldn't brush aside that small voice in my head that it could have been so much lovelier if we had candles.

The groom, Efren is quite a charmer. He knew by heart our events, every project we do, venue places we work at. When he told us that they own a cozy flowershop in downtown Honolulu, got pressured to do better. And of course, I know where to get my first job if one day we shall have to move there. Yay! Kristal, our bride, looks like a doll. Seriously, our first meeting I thought she was a teenager or something... They look really lovely together.

Quite thankful that inspite of all the drama yesterday this wedding came out truly lovely. Again, what's a wedding without some drama? Not to leave you guessing, I am referring to changes that put mildly... shook us, events people. I'm quite optimistic that it's going to be better today and the other days to come. And somehow I think that it's going to give birth to a better camaraderie for us in the events industry here in Ilocos Norte.

 

So yeah, enough of my riddles...how do you like our tangerine filled loveliness yesterday folks? As much as I love our cakes and weddings, I have started to love taking photos of what we do. I'm almost close to being a self-centered, narcissistic, not so bitchy (as that personality test gave me an 11%) event stylist. Teehee! Really wish for a camera upgrade now.

Beginnings:: Eden + Bong

I read a beautiful story just recently that reminds us "shared grief is half the sorrow, happiness shared on the other hand is doubled". That has to be a reason why we seek our lifetime partners. Everything becomes more endearing, happier. Eden and Bong's love story is a story to tell. And somehow, knowing someone who went through a beautiful story amazes me more how the heavens have a master plan for happiness.
