Love at its truest:: Jed + Aleth

My most favorite projects (yes fave!) would be those that are closest to real, au naturele. For darlings Jed and Aleth’s we had their sweethearts lounge see through overlooking the lake, with beautiful, wind blown like, organically arranged florals.

Venue:: Malacañang of the North
Floral x Event Stylist:: Ava’s Cakes and Events
Caterer:: La Preciosa

A Decade of Love:: Rhey + Juvie

How I wish we had something like Antonio's here in Ilocos. Quaint, yet grand... subtly beautiful! Will never ever pass a chance to style darlings Rhey and Juvie's 10th wedding anniversary even if it meant we have to haul the team 500kms from home base! When I learned that we shall also be having Side A to sing for the evening, we were sold.

For this loveliness, they wanted a laid back rustic evening, we accented the tables with fragrant pink peonies, paper roses', ecuadoreans, and cats tail in nice wooden baskets amidst candles. Simple, yet classy. Nothing but loveliness, always.

La Denise Feast

Love this surprise party planned and conceptualised by our darling friends from La Belle Fête  for the beautiful Ms. Denise Laurel. Laid back yet polished. Rustic yet elegant. She was the star under the stars. We had tivoli lights that mimicked the stars, soft small white flowers amidst flickering candles, layers of textures from the pampas grass, mix matched foliages detailed in organic and metal baskets. Nothing but loveliness, always.

Nieves:: Gabi ng Parangal

I have never seen a family as beautiful as Nanay Nieves’. To come up with a production as this in the United States is just beyond me, the grandchildren and children of Nanay Nieves sang and danced Filipino music and OPM’s for an hour and a half straight.

This song sums how close and admirable they are. I can honestly go on, but words won’t give justice. I was watching them in awe and slight tears.

Wag ka nang umiyak sa mundong pabago-bago

Pag-ibig ko ay totoo
Ako ang iyong bangka
Kung magalit man ang alon at panahon
Sabay tayong aahon

I’ve been asked how do we do these projects away from turf, quite easy because we’ve been lucky enough to have clients who “obey” the design direction we want, and it does super help to have Mavelle - Nanay Nieves’ apo- have an aligned crazy need to have a beautiful party like we do. Oh how fun was the planning part and all those purchasing of what we need.

Venue:: Holiday Inn, San Francisco USA
Planning and Coordination:: Mavelle Peralta

We started with this space and ended up with that loveliness above. We had to bring in the cake, capiz shells and lanterns, buri hats, sinamay, and what nots.
