Lovely Reasons:: Emil + Ivy

While we were working on Emil and Ivy's loveliness, my heart couldn't keep still... from the gorgeousness of this black and yellow fete to the projects we are about to do outside Sunshine City. Arabella's Events Place fits the color palette perfectly with its black and white tiles. Ivy's arm candy was a lovely bunch of roses, coneflowers, cymbidiums and tulips. The presidential table had beautiful hand tied yellow calla lilies, tulips, fragrant casablancas, pristine orchids, and bundles of roses. It's simplicity was breathtaking.
And as for the that other reason why my heart could not keep still... I've always dreamt of at least one international project yearly. The heavens just granted that, not one but two for this year. Our client sends me the link where I can choose furnitures for our event, darling, I know the drill. Overly excited is an understatement.

History in Love:: Lorenz + Fely

And the mother of groom tells me that their guests thought they got someone from Manila to style Lorenz and Fely's wedding. Sigh! I'm sure it meant as a compliment . It elates me to know that somehow in this side of the universe, we already do have wedding vendors that work professionally, execute beautifully, and charge reasonably. Should you wish to know my dream team, long long time ago, which still holds true for now, I did a feature of it a few years back in this blog.
I'm very partial to Malacañang of the North as a wedding venue. You have the lake and that grandiose facade of the house, a lush and verdant lawn, Philippine history to reminisce. Yesterday, we also made history... For so long, there are only two caterers accredited to work here, yet now, Chef Nic Rodriguez of Bistro Candon and Rufino's debuts catering at the Malacañang of the North. The staff admires the rows of clean linens, shiny silver, well-oiled staff. They should have been able to get a taste of the food so they can vouch for that as well.
