Classic Elegance:: Marlo + Guia

I have seen weddings filled with warmth and love from family and friends but Marlo and Guia's has to be exceptional. Theirs is a wedding with crazy loving friends who went out of their way to let them have a really really nice and lovely wedding. It's as if they did this wedding for them, gave meaning to being part of this wedding, literally and figuratively.

And I'm floored that we were a part of this loveliness. The meetings since day 1 was nothing but happy and funny. Seriously. I look forward to meetings with them and their friends for the hilarious conversations we had, again, as if we weren't planning a wedding. I guess the heavens know how to give loveliness to lovely people. Proven, time and again.

How do you love those handmade, sugar flowers we made for Guia and Marlo? Deliciously lovely, I swear.
That loveliness overlooking the pristine Paoay Lake.

Congratulations Guia and Marlo. In behalf of your Ava's Cakes and Events family, we wish you days of endless laughter and love.

Train Party:: Marty's 7th

Spent the weekend working on back to back lovelinesses. We did this train party to celebrate Marty's 7th. I did enjoy the brief meetings Marty's power mom and I had as we planned the little tots party. Sharing moments on raising our boys, how crazy our schedules are yet we need, must, make time to balance work and family. Seeing Marty gamely posing everywhere at his party, I knew, his parents efforts to have this is already rewarded.

Love at the Lake:: Vicky + Edmund

It's in my bucket list to do a wedding ceremony at the heart of Paoay lake. That is have everyone ride bancas, barges, jet skis or a yacht perhaps. When the grooms sister sends me a photo of the venue, my heart skipped a beat... Not quite but close enough.

So we do Vicky and Edmunds wedding. To say the lake was chilly would be an understatement. If it was possible to have frostbite in this part of the universe, I would have had. We were expecting just 50 of their closest friends and family, but there must have been more than a hundred who were there at four in the morning. Too much love enough to warm everyone.

Congratulations Vicky and Edmund, to lovelier sunrises!

Pirate Minions

There's must be something in the air, this is our second minion project collaborated with another character or in character! It's cute though, I'm changing my view, and lowering my raised eyebrows. Teehee!

Roarin' :: Jarred's Baptism

The weekend was roarin' with loveliness as we did a safari party to celebrate Jarred's baptism. Vines with faux leaves, a lion, a crocodile, a turtle, a few monkeys hanging in our Safari trees. Quite nice with the browns we had and the animal skin patterns all over.
I love how the animal print balloons came out. We had it custom made in gold, black, white, orange and yellow. And we scattered it all over Arabella's events place, that way... the Ava's way.
