Spanish fiesta:: Catniss' baptism

I am so behind from blogging lovely parties. Bear with me though because there's going to be another "fiesta" we shall be bombarding you within a few. For Catniss' baptism, we did a Spanish fiesta- her lovely mom lives in Spain, figures. Not only did we have decorations of colored fringe banderitas, honeycomb lanterns, cacti, bright fresh florals, faux machuka tiles, and maracas but the menu was true to theme as well. We had no other caterer in mind- just Chef Nic Rodriguez and made it imperative for him to make delicious paella!

Enchanted Love:: Sheryl + Rey

I just had to do this post for Sheryl and Rey's loveliness now because my heart could not keep still from how enchanting the Sierra Madre ballroom of Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel looks like.

We had gold foliage dropping from crystal ends. A fountain filled with roses and tulips. A gold gate with chandeliers.

Laced in love:: Karla + Mark

I've had brides thank us profusely with tight hugs and words that melt the heart, Karla gave me three cheeky kisses! Oh my goodness! We had a child bride so giddy and happy we were able to give her a lovely lovely reception.

I'm still crushing on their couple's nook. We had a simple yet so sleek and classy set with lush florals. While we were doing the flowers, our senior florist and I were taking notes on the direction of the floral styles we've been doing recently. Less of the structured but more of those which looks very organic. Au naturale! Very fluid.
The cake is as lovely as the florals. Hand piped lace by the mister and delicate paper thin roses.

Manuel + Lyra:: Silver Lovin'

I was slightly taken aback when I learned that the wedding they were planning was to celebrate their silver. Darn! The bride just doesn't look like another 25 years was added to her age since they got married. My thoughts kinda feel silly. Aside from good genes, being married to the one you love fill it with days of so much love and laughter that drowns whatever crazy setbacks a marriage would have, must be the key to looking youthful.

We did this loveliness playing with blush, lavender and purple hues. It kinda reminds me that summer is just around the corner and spring at the other side of the world- which both makes me giddy with excitement. My heart is doing cartwheels. I have a feeling I won't be able to get over the lovely florals of hyacinths, David Austin roses, fringed tulips, and lisianthuses we did for the couple and their children.

We did rows after row of sweet and classy tables for the dinner reception.
The ceremony was overlooking the Paoay lake. They had it under a gazebo with lush hydrangeas, lisianthuses, and cymbidiums.

Warm Holidays:: Syrel + A-jay

Berry colors with a dash of silver and gold! How's that for this Christmas themed wedding for Syrel and A-jay. It has always been in the bucket list to do something like this and evoke a warm feeling. You know, not the wintery kind of feel. I think the gold pine cones we scattered in the lush florals gave that look, looks very very holiday-ish.
