Love on the loose:: Bea + Mark

The loveliness this wedding has is beyond. Bea and Mark's had the chillest vibe, go and let loose kind, go and enjoy the moment, just go and be you. Lufthan of Kwento Photo and Films capturing the beautiful moments - oh God! All smiles from everyone, you can see!

I love doing weddings like this - when the B&G never gets pressured doing theirs like everyone else. Loved Bea's "this is how I want, this is what we like". From the ceremony at the Magsingal Ruins to their reception by the Figueras Farm. The details speak so much of these two, heart skipping a beat - her lace robe (pretty! pretty! pretty!), their colors doing blue and red yet teaming up for this loveliness. Tasteful details everywhere.

Like no other. Definitely, like no other.

Dreams do come true:: Carla + Jr

You know that feeling where you had so much loveliness yesterday that you get so excited to write about … much more share it to the whole world? I’m in that lovely state of mind right now. And if I am in that state, I can only imagine and be immensely happy for Carla and JR. Truly, dreams do come true. Lovely people have lovelier mornings to look forward to.

We had lovely domes of fresh blooms everywhere, with of course high and low votives in really really nice candle holders. Sigh! And we were supposed to have a mirror wall for Carla and Jr but we felt a collage of our tin boxes would give more character to the couple’s lounge. I love the textures it created. The mister DIY-ed those chandelier lamp posts, which I think came out really really neat.

And lest I forget, I’m going to gush about The Red Gala Weddings and Events Team headed by Audrey Co-Adora. They are a local planner, I love, love, love working with. A new player with about a year or so planning and coordinating weddings yet the way they organize and “move” seems like they’ve been here for ages.  Just worth commending. Good job Audrey love and of course to your girls, Chanel, Cjoy, Shayne and Jovi.

Winter in Summer :: Glaiza + Ian

It's been quite awhile working at Playa Tropical, but the warmth of the people who work there is still as usual. We did this almost wintery, ice white wedding for Glaiza and Ian. I honestly wished it was able to cool off the summer heat. This summer has been too hot, but then I don't yearn for the rains either. We still have a lot more of garden lovelinesses to do.

As we were working on this wedding, our staff remembers how one time someone offers him more so he can work for them, to which he declines. I truly appreciate the loyalty, and somehow people who aren't family, yet when you treat them as such, will for the longest time be an ally, family. For that I am grateful beyond words for having them in our boat. And I can only give an advice to those who will try again to do so, that try not to lure someone through money, because when another player comes, and would offer more... You'll be left with nothing once again.

Special thanks to Toni Carag of Playa for letting us use their drapes.
