Rodeo::Rulex Jr's 1st

I cannot believe we survived the past weekend. We had back to back parties for Saturday and Sunday. In all honesty though, I didn't feel the least bit tired... just a little bit pressured to beat the time and of course to execute our sketches nicely.

So for Rulex's 1st, the little brother of Ellice, whom we did their parties just last month... the vintage circus party where you can see the link here. .. we did him a rodeo themed 1st birthday yee haw!

Don't you just want to rush to a party with a reward such as that? tee hee!
Those are the stick horses we've been DIY-ing for the past days. They are so cute. See the No Credit Today sign? Then on what day would there be credit? Ha! ha!

The menu for the day. No gin and whiskey.

Boot topped cake for the little one.

The coral we made for the little one. It is very timely too that it is already harvest time for palays. We were able to use the palay stalks as accents.
Sigh! Sorry for blowing my own horn again... but the party was so cute. Until now, I can't get over it. I got this message from Rulex's mom... "That was a great styling ate! You always make us the happiest! Thank you, again! You and kuya Ace are the best! HugsIt's as if my sore body has been relieved. You made me the happiest this time. Thank you again... for letting us do your kiddo's parties.

Up up away::Nathan Gabriel's baptism

What a party to start a sunshiny day! Nathan's mom made us pick the theme... With her lines, I trust you. Heavens, talk about being totally pressured to do something nice.

So we did a spin off of the UP movie... Sort of...

Very sunshiny! Yellows and blues. We even hanged balloon clouds and dropped a few hot air balloon lanterns.

Don't let that hot air balloon deceive you. It is made of steel and cloth... Not bamboo and paper. That is my Ace's DIY. I think he did a pretty good job. Hugs dad! My market basket was used as the balloons basket... And I threw in some pretty cute bears in it.

Nathan's mom made us do cupcakes topped with what else... for his favors.

A few hours after the party, Nathan's mom called to thank us for doing a nice job. The outcome was a surprise. Believe me, nothing warms my heart more than an appreciation from a happy client.

So alright... Nathan's baptismal done... 2nd party for the day coming up.

Minnie mouse::Gaby Almazan's baptism

I'm pleased that Gaby's parents were not uptight in our using black elements for their little one's baptism. Minnie isn't Minnie without the black.

Her cake is one giant cupcake. Yay!

Her name's in different black frames. Very chic! It pops out from the polka dotted wall.

My red chandelier, though it doesn't look red here.

Rose and carnation flower cupcakes. =)

All I can say now...is this is a Sunday well spent. Thank heavens! =)

Welcome to the Christian world little one!

Fairy birthday::Rain

It is always a challenge to come up with something new on a party theme that has been done for every little girl who celebrates her birthday. When Rain's mom, Ana, requested a fairy party... Uh oh! Gotta do something different or else it will come out like the usual fairy parties. Pink and purple is cute, no offense, but it has been used too much since time in memorial... So we did red and violet. =)

We did towering polka dotted balloons and huge butterfly foil centerpieces. I'm sure the kids got crazy, the parents crazier to get one of those. We tied them in logs with butterfly silhouettes I did myself =) yey! Clap! Clap! Tee hee!

As for the cake, since we didn't want to use fairy stand-ups, we opted for a fairy cake. Ace did brush embroidery on the fairy's gown. So dainty must I say. I styled the cake table with the logs we brought. I love the outcome. =) I love my butterflies. =)

Do you guys know the name of the tiny white flowers? Picked some from the venue's garden.

After we did the stage, I couldn't help but wish to have a girl of my own too. I seriously have a feeling she's going to have nice with a capital N, nice parties. We did exaggerated flowers and drop butterflies for Rain's stage. I didn't want to ruin the rawness so we opted for a wooden table instead of the linen covered one.

I think this is Rain's 4th birthday. I've lost count, she always has parties like it's her 1st. Lucky little girl. Oh and I saw her gown, soooo kikay. Mommy Ana, please post some photos.

Well, well, one more party for June and were done. July is another story.
