Venice Beach Vibe:: Sage's 2nd

In this side of the universe, the Custodio's - Joyce and Maco would come up with the coolest party themes for their children- Caspian and Sage. Can you imagine us bringing in a real Volkswagon Beetle as stage props for Caspian's 1st which you can see here at Arabella's garden? We had to have 10 people carry it across the fence! This time to celebrate Sage's birthday, they opted to have a Venice Beach Vibe. Why it made me miss LA more.

To More Beautiful Years:: Estelita's 79th

A weekend well spent for us starting with this loveliness to celebrate Estelita Caluya's 79th. The opulence of red roses and tulips, deep pink celosias, and purple hydrangeas was perfect with the crystal chandeliers and brick walls of Fort Ilocandia.

Hawaiian Love:: Sonny + Megi

We just had a few hours for Father's Day lunch upon touchdown in Haweewee love then we started working on Sonny and Megi's loveliness. My mother in law was such a trooper, helping us work on the centerpieces and the bouquets. Even if we arrived on a weekend, and Watanabe was close- it does help that a family member works there, we were still able to get beautiful lavender and pink florals for this project.

 

Megi had this lavender, lilac and pink arm candy of stocks, peonies, garden roses, seeded eucalyptus and misty blue.

How do you style a sweethearts table in 10minutes? Hand tie with silk ribbon beautiful florals over a spray of foliage, let a bundle of eucalyptus fall down. Voila!

The fondant covered cake we checked in was messed up so we had to remove the fondant and ganache then opt for a semi naked cake with buttercream. It pays that we hand carried my sugar flowers, it arrived im perfect condition!
