Bow or Bowtie? :: Tin's Gender Reveal Party

I kinda believe that it takes a lovely party to come up with another lovely one. You see, this gender reveal baby thing has been scheduled when we we're doing Jesus Carlisle's Monogram party which you can see here. And I do remember how it all started... Jojami Alcid, Tin's sister in law and Arianne Franco, a friend, approaches me and tells me something that goes "We are throwing a party which Laoag City hasn't seen before!" Ok... now you have my attention. So we did have a few meetings over our homemade 5 minute pasta every now and then, accomplishing 1 of 20 in the list every time because every now and then current events about our small city would be brought up. Teehee!

So it's bow or bowtie gender reveal. The printable's  dictated the colors we were using, the patterns and most if not all everything! We limited the colors to white, pinks and purples, blues and greens. You can say I was in pastel heaven for a few days.

Our first time to do meringue, easy but daunting at first. And what better way to show it off than have checkered blues and pinks tied with bakers twine?
We had a small nook for baby stuff in one side, an old wives tale chart, a black board to tally the teams we were on, a list of Tin's cravings and a writing area. Everything was part of the dinner program. And I won a game by listing the most of Tin's cravings. I know, what a cheat! Teehee!
 Lovely isn't it? Sigh!

Can you read the letter? If you do, then you'd agree that kids just say the darnedest things. Teehee!

Bow and bowties, pink or blue to show which team are you on. By, the way... the blue team won. Tin and Kevin are having a boy. I regret not being able to take a photo of the reveal, I was too preoccupied with how tender the moment was, I was holding back tears. Yay!

Guess the number of pins and list the items you remember seeing in the baby suitcase. How hard could that be? Very hard!

We had baby bottles with very nice paper straws for the pink and blue lemonades.

I cannot be more pleased with how the guests were "in love" with what they saw. And the rest of the pictures will show how everyone was having a great time at the party.

Yanna Alcid taking videos or photos of everything?

Dear Ako Tintin...

The mister... yes drinking in a baby bottle. He ages backwards.

Team pink!

The bride and her bridesmaids... go figure!
Ariane Franco, Jojami Alcid, Joel Dul-Loog, Maan Albano

John, Dr. Babsie, Tin and Bryan Alcid

Caroline Barbers, Tin Alcid and Jojami Alcid

Most of the whole shebang
Now forgive for not having taken a lot of  photos... that would be Glenn's duty already. We were guests, and like other guests, we were busy enjoying the party. Teehee!

Thank you to the Alcid's for another lovely party you threw our way. Tin, you have the best sister in law in the whole wide world. And I mean that.

Congratulations on the little boy coming real soon.
