Mrs. Marcos' cake in 4 hours

Let's see... How do I start with this cake?

'Babe, phone call'
'Who is it?'
'City Mayors office'

I knew it was about Mrs. Marcos birthday. I just had a feeling it was. And you know it seriously was.

Laoag's first lady is on the line.
'Hi Kit, you know she is expecting your cake. We were calling you but you weren't answering. Can you do it?'
'I'm at a party working. But since it's for tomorrow we'll find time po.'
'That's the thing it's for her asalto... Tonight!'
'Whaattt?'

So you can just imagine how crazy yesterday was. We were at a party working, and from our time frame, we will be done by 4 or so. And they wanted the cake at 8?

Well anyway, I love putting US in challenging and difficult positions and I'll always be nonchalant that we will come out alive... So we took it. Aside from the fact that it is an honor to be doing cakes for the former first lady, how can you say no to people in power?

We were able to finish it on time and we learned that she loved it. And she's bringing it to her Manila party today. =)

Again, happy birthday Ma'am.
