Vintage Elegance::Lyndy + Don

We had this lovely vintage inspired wedding yesterday. We only had three meetings with the Dy's prior to their wedding. The first was more of settling in with them over pansit and blocking their date. It was 95% non wedding issues, 5%wedding issues. The 2nd meeting was 50%wedding issues, 50% non wedding issues. The 3rd and final meeting was 10% wedding issues and 90% non wedding.

They have to be the most laid-back we've ever had. They basically made us do what we wanted, with the constant reminder that it should be beautiful. Lyndy would always say "Bahala ka na, I know you'll make it nice!".
I get more pressured with nice clients. Really!

We made a damask printed stage with mirrors. The chandelier just had to make an appearance again this time.

Books and gilded gold wood accented this part.

Birdcages on the other side.

Yay! I see me.

The ghosts are so pretty. This is it's second coming out. It gives extra sophistication in any affair. Swear. =)

We used pink, orange and salmon colored flowers to complement the whites and greens we used. I love the outcome. I think I'm going to be in love with salmon for quite sometime.

Ace and I seldom attend clients weddings. Actually we don't. Not that we don't want to but putting up a show such as this is sooo tasking physically and mentally that no energy is left to party after. We made an exception. We went even if we were two hours late. Ha!ha!

From left to right, Lala love- the cupcake princess, April Rafales of TV patrol, Mara Manuel- she seamlessly coordinated this wedding, Tricia of Goto love it and moi and mi amore. Yay! Oh and of course, the Dy's. It's kinda amusing that Lyndy is now Lyndy Dy. =)

A little trivia here, Lyndy's father is the mango king of the Philippines, making her the mango princess.

Congratulations Lyndy and Don!
