A year ago, this project landed in our lap. The first peg we received was their cake. If you are a cake artist or simply like my Lola Doc who follows society pages, you'd recognize this cake as a doppelganger of Penk Ching's famous cake for the Shalani-Romulo wedding. The peonies added are the spin-off we did for this lovely cake.
And since the cake is too pretty to place in a corner or so, we opted to highlight it right in the middle of Sierra Madre's ballroom. Teehee! This cake actually dictated some elements we needed to style this wedding.
The instruction too for this wedding was that... there was actually none. Teehee! Mind you though, when your clients are very easy to please, it is somehow much more difficult. I wouldn't know what is lurking in their minds, would they want this or that, grand or subdued or so on. The color motif of pink and green was the only thing definite to start on with the styling for this. Ayayay!
The apples floating within the glass vases looks so deliciously lovely. I'm sure the guests shared my opinion. Not one apple was left after the wedding. Teehee!
Forgive me for not blogging on this immediately. We just felt the impact of doing this wedding with two events before us at the church and another wedding before us at the reception. You can just imagine the time constraint. Plus I went cray, the ghosts weren't supposed to be used here, but they just have to be there. Had to request staff to bring them to the ballroom. That's it, done with three pinks, a blue, a pastel filled, and another pink (again!) for the month.
Thank you to the other M's {Marlon + Mary Joy} for letting us work on your big day! Much love!
