Cakes today and yesterday

Ooooh for the past features I did, it was mainly on the lovely events we've been doing. Now I think, I ought to give the spotlight back to our cakes. So here are some, of our September cakes. Please don't be mad if your cake isn't here, I just grabbed what has been stored in my laptop.

Rica Villa's Cake
Rica's parisian inspired cake. Don't we all want to see Paris? Paris equates to loveliness to the nth level. It must be very very pretty in there. Everywhere is a fall in love spot. Sigh!
How quirky this wedding cake is. They requested us to let the bride and groom be in a convertible... and the bride should be driving. So we let her be.
Mrs. M's cake
My 30th birthday cake. You don't only know how I pestered the staff and Ace to bake me one. In the end, I did my own cake. I love how it ended up though. The ruffles are so neat.
Hailey Gorgonio's cake

Blair Gorgonio's cake
Our under the sea themed party cakes for siblings Hailey and Blair. Sebastian is soooo cute!
Rain Courtney FariƱas' cake
Who say's you can't have fun on a rainy day? This cake was for the Congressman's granddaughter. Look at the little girl... with her raincoat, boots and umbrella... there's no stopping her to have fun on her birthday!
Obviously,  I am such a sucker for anything lace especially vintage looking laces. It has a different kind of drama in it. When Ace was done piping the lace... I told him it looks better than the swatch they gave. Don't you think so? It looks so real. Very very pretty.
Marlowe+Princess Aldus' wedding cake

Agel Donato's cake
A little bit of pixie dust is all you need.
Aiah and Aisha Avelino's cake
Our take on a lady bug themed cake. The bugs on top are so adorable.
Julio Liquete's cake
What's an "out to see the world" party without a luggage cake?
Andrea Danao's cake
My lola Doc asked me... "is the second layer a cityscape" ha!ha! Well it looks like, and why not? Actually,   they are just edible lipsticks, mascaras and eyeliners in attention.
Nathan Gabriel's cupcakes
Rulex Jr. Hipolito's cake
This is the only way and means acceptable where you can place a boot in something edible. Tee hee! Or should  I say yee haw?
Chanelle Duldulao's cake
Tea party cake for the whimsy party.

Alice in Wonderland::Channel Heleyne's 2nd

The best compliment a client could give us is to be a repeat client and of course, to give a good word of us to others. I feel quite honored that  Chanelle's aunt, Ms. Shirylle,  told us that she truly insisted that we do Chanelle's 2nd again. A year's past, we did Chanelle's 1st. But mind you, this 2nd bash is another something.

So it's Alice in wonderland this time. We did a harlequin pink wall for the backdrop. The big cards are one of our DIY's this time. Well what can you say, I love being suicidal. Always DIY-ing stuff. The clock was Ace's DIY. And the leaves and flowers were by the staff.

Isn't it cute? strewn playing cards everywhere?
The hanging tea sets were inspired by the book I recently got. It just makes sense and adds additional cuteness for this party to have a lot of tea sets... and hanged!
Mind you... that clock is huge! 4ft in diameter I suppose. So is it time? Time for Chanelle's party.

What would be an Alice in wonderland party without the Cheshire cat?
 Lovely, lovely rosettes!

Confused with Alice's look. Amazed with the party perhaps?
For Chanelle's centerpieces, we did a bunch of alstromerias in glass with playing card and polka dot ribbon accents. We also did fuchsia polka dotted balloons mixed with metallic royal blues, oh and topped with a very very nice mylar. The happy birthday mylar is soooo me. Tee hee!
The ghosts couldn't even resist not being on this party. Little one, you are very very lucky. Your mommy and daddy wants the best of everything just for you. To give the world in a silver platter.

For Chanelle's other centerpieces, we did trees with playing cards and hanged cupcakes. We were kinda joking if would the guests get the cupcakes we hanged. From the cuteness of it, I wouldn't be surprised if they insist to bring home the whole tree. Tee hee!

Her cake was equally lovely. It was also tall. Ha! ha!

I couldn't be more pleased when I saw the guests enjoying the look of the party. Oohhhsss and aaahhhss!! Yay! That truly inspires me to do better parties. When her Aunt saw the party, she said... "I love you ading"... what can I say... but I love you back. Tee hee! And her mom, saying SUPER LIKE? Well, I had a silly smile plastered to my face for the rest of the day.

Thank you to Sir Allan and the staff of Plaza del Norte for being so accommodating. It truly is a lovelier experience to work in a nice place when the people working there are as nice too.

Thank you so much to your family for again, having us time and again.

Rodeo::Rulex Jr's 1st

I cannot believe we survived the past weekend. We had back to back parties for Saturday and Sunday. In all honesty though, I didn't feel the least bit tired... just a little bit pressured to beat the time and of course to execute our sketches nicely.

So for Rulex's 1st, the little brother of Ellice, whom we did their parties just last month... the vintage circus party where you can see the link here. .. we did him a rodeo themed 1st birthday yee haw!

Don't you just want to rush to a party with a reward such as that? tee hee!
Those are the stick horses we've been DIY-ing for the past days. They are so cute. See the No Credit Today sign? Then on what day would there be credit? Ha! ha!

The menu for the day. No gin and whiskey.

Boot topped cake for the little one.

The coral we made for the little one. It is very timely too that it is already harvest time for palays. We were able to use the palay stalks as accents.
Sigh! Sorry for blowing my own horn again... but the party was so cute. Until now, I can't get over it. I got this message from Rulex's mom... "That was a great styling ate! You always make us the happiest! Thank you, again! You and kuya Ace are the best! HugsIt's as if my sore body has been relieved. You made me the happiest this time. Thank you again... for letting us do your kiddo's parties.
