Shabby chic + pirate party

It's not that we can't. It's just that if we can have it our way... We won't. Side by side, same day parties? Crazy! And if luck plays games... We get a Vigan delivery. Gee!

A shabby chic party and pirate party in one day! The invites we painstakingly did. Well it's true invites are more or less to be thrown after the party. But the thing is an appreciative guest would know immediately the effort parents do to make their kid's party memorable. it gives a first glance of what's in store. =)

Japanese lanterns waiting to be hanged. =) I love the colors and mix match of size. =)

Banderitas for the centerpieces. Shabby chic!

The stage with colorful twisted flower balloons. =)

Lanterns hanged. Centerpieces inflated then assembled.

And of course, the cake that takes center stage. A topsy turvy cup and teapot cake which you can only order at Ava's cakes www.avascakes.com

We made makeshift sails for the other party. I think it's a cute application of polkas and stripes. =) who says they can't go together? =)

Strewn chocolate coins at the candy bar.

The sign says it all.

Lots and lots of balloons.

And of course the cake that takes center stage for this party.

You can just imagine us, running from one party to another. Though we have staff to help, there are still a lot details be it small or big that requires our thoughts, decisions!

It's hard but after, when we see smiles of happy guests, tang gal pagod! Really! Oh and of course when the parents give you the look or the hug of a contented one, winner! Ready for the next party again!
